CA II Community is an independent, non-commercial awareness initiative. It aims to share knowledge about carbonic anhydrase II deficiency, support access to trusted scientific information, and connect people who care about the condition.
Who we are
A community project focused on a rare condition linked to the CA2 gene. The current public account is @CII2_mutation.

That affected people, families, students, and researchers can find a clear explanation and sources they can check, without exaggeration or treatment promises.
Mission
To raise awareness, make sources easier to find, and surface what has been published—especially Saudi studies and reported cases—while keeping the limits of the evidence visible.

Why the initiative exists
Information about rare conditions is often scattered across databases and papers. The project gathers an entrance and points to the source. It does not replace a clinician.
Who it is for
Affected people and families, students, researchers, and clinicians who want an overview. Depth differs: the family page is simpler, and the researcher page leads to the library.
Independence
In its current form the initiative is independent. Its content does not speak for a government medical body or a hospital.
What kind of project this is
“Non-commercial” describes the aim: awareness, not the sale of a medical service. It does not mean a registered nonprofit association or a licensed nonprofit organization. It is not a hospital, a treatment service, an official health institution, or a government body.
